SORYNO TAPE Free - Tape Saturator [VST3 / Windows]

SORYNO TAPE Free is a tape saturation plug-in for Windows (VST3), built

around showing what it is doing. The other SORYNO plug-ins tidy a mix up;

this one adds to it.

・DRIVE 0-100 %. At 0 nothing is distorted and the curve is a straight line.

・TYPE (Tape / Tube / Transformer) and MIX for parallel saturation.

・Transfer curve with a glowing dot for the sound right now, drawn from the

　same calculation as the audio. Tape tone curve, a BEFORE / AFTER view with

　the difference in dB, and a speed lane.

・The graph a knob affects is framed in that knob's colour for about 2 s.

・IN / OUT trim (-24 to +24 dB) and AUTO GAIN for a fair comparison.

・QUALITY 1x / 2x (2x by default, included on purpose) with an ALIASING

　readout. 14 presets plus your own.

・A/B, undo/redo, tooltips and a latency-compensated bypass.

No time limit, no feature timeout, no ads and no license activation.

Pro-only controls are shown in grey rather than hidden.

Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a VST3 host. 44.1 / 48 / 96 /

192 kHz, mono or stereo. No additional runtime is needed - the Visual C++

redistributable is not required. There is no macOS or AAX version.

音に「足す」ための、テープ サチュレーターです。

SORYNO の EQ / COMP / LIMIT / DEESS は、音を「整える」道具でした。

TAPE は、初めての「足す」道具です。

「無料版だから機能が足りない」ではなく、

「これだけで仕事が終わる」ことを目指して作りました。

期限も、機能の時間制限も、広告も、ライセンス認証もありません。

■ できること

・DRIVE（かかり具合。0〜100%。0 では歪みません）

・TYPE（Tape / Tube / Transformer。歪み方の性格）

・MIX（原音と混ぜる量。パラレル）

・IN / OUT（入口と出口の音量。−24〜+24 dB）

・AUTO GAIN（歪ませて上がった音量を戻します。比べるときは入れたままで）

・QUALITY（オーバーサンプリング。1x / 2x・既定は 2x）

・プリセット 14種 ＋ ご自分で作ったもの

■ 「何が起きているか」が見えます

・転送カーブ … 曲がりがそのまま歪み。いま鳴っている位置が光点で出ます

　（画面の曲線と実際の音は、同じ計算から作っています）

・TAPE TONE … テープの音色（周波数特性）。DRIVE で育ち、TYPE で癖が変わります

・BEFORE / AFTER … 原音と加工後を重ね、差を塗って dB で表示します

・つまみを動かすと、効きが出るグラフに色の枠と名前・値が約2秒出ます

　（オートメーション・プリセット・A/B でも出ます）

■ 2x は無料版にも入れています

歪みで生まれる高い成分の折り返し（ざらつき）を抑えるためです。

転送カーブの右下 ALIASING に実測値が出ます（7kHz で 1x −7.5 dB → 2x −21.5 dB）。

2x の遅れは 48kHz で 3サンプル、重さは CPU 1コアの約1.4%です。

■ 使いやすさのために入れたもの

・A / B 比較（A>B で反対側へ写せます。UNDO で戻せます）

・UNDO / REDO

・ボタンの説明（マウスを乗せると出ます）

・ウィンドウの拡大縮小

・BYPASS しても音のタイミングがずれない作り

■ Pro 専用の項目も画面に出ています

使えない項目は隠さず、灰色で表示しています（金色の「PRO」印つき）。

何が固定されているのかが分かるようにするためです。

・Windows 10 / 11（64bit）

・VST3 に対応した DAW

・44.1 / 48 / 96 / 192 kHz

・モノラル / ステレオ

※ 追加のソフトは必要ありません。

　「Visual C++ 再頒布可能パッケージ」も不要です。

※ Mac 版・AAX（Pro Tools）版はありません。

■ インストール

ZIP を展開し、中の「インストール.bat」を実行してください。

管理者権限は要りません。

（英字名の「Install.bat」も入っています。中身は同じです）

※ 実行時に「WindowsによってPCが保護されました」と表示されることがあります。

　これは開発元の証明書（有償）を取得していないためで、中身の問題ではありません。

　「詳細情報」→「実行」で進めてください。

■ もっと必要になったら

SORYNO TAPE Pro では、テープ速度・BIAS・WOW（揺れ）・

BAND（歪ませる帯域）・Mid-Side・QUALITY 4x / 8x・

プリセット44種が使えます。操作感はそのままです。

無料版で作ったユーザープリセットは、Pro に自動で引き継がれます。

※ Pro 版は近日公開予定です。まだご購入いただけません。
