◆制作の道のり（なぜ作ったか）

怖い映画や不気味なイラスト、心に残る恐ろしい体験。

その場から離れ、作品を見終えたあとも、恐怖はなかなか消えてくれません。

夜になって部屋の明かりを消すと、暗闇の中に“あいつ”が潜んでいるような気がする。

一人でトイレへ行き、扉を開けた瞬間、昼間に見た恐ろしい少女が目の前に立っていたら――。

想像するだけでも、背後を振り返りたくなるような怖さがあります。

作品の中だけにとどまらず、日常や夢の中にまで追いかけてくる恐怖。

そこから、人間が感じる恐怖の根底には、生存を脅かされる「襲われる」という感覚があるのではないかと考えました。

その感覚をモンスター素材として形にしたものが、今回のテーマである**「追われる恐怖」**です。

◆ Development Notes (Why I made this)

Scary movies, unsettling illustrations, and frightening experiences can stay with us long after they are over.

Even after leaving the place or finishing the story, the fear does not always disappear.

At night, when the lights go out, it can suddenly feel as though “that thing” is still hiding somewhere in the darkness.

You go to the bathroom alone, open the door, and imagine that the terrifying figure you saw earlier that day might be standing right in front of you.

Just thinking about it can make you want to look over your shoulder.

Some fears do not remain inside a movie, game, or illustration.

They follow us into everyday life—and sometimes even into our dreams.

That made me wonder whether one of the most fundamental forms of human fear is the feeling that our survival is being threatened: the fear of being attacked and hunted.

I wanted to turn that feeling into monster assets.

That idea became the theme of this pack:

“The Fear of Being Chased.”
