Bathroom v1.0.0 is a novelty-style environment effect plugin

that aims to make things sound "bathroom-ish" -- not a real simulator.

Think of it as a toy reverb where you turn knobs until something

sounds like a bathroom.

Seven knobs and seven presets let you dial in everything from

a tiny unit-bath vibe to a large public-bath feel,

all in air quotes of course.

Use it for vocal tracks, situational voice / ASMR, narration,

streaming gag effects, video SFX -- with a sense of fun.

Free download. If you like it, a paid "supporter" version

(identical contents) is available as a tip alternative,

and it helps fund the next toy in the Environment FX Series.

This plugin is a NOVELTY effect.

It is NOT a physically accurate simulator of bathroom acoustics.

It is a playful, novelty-style reverb that aims to make things

sound "bathroom-ish" for fun.

Do not use it for academic, architectural, or scientific purposes.

Think of it as a toy, not a tool.

特徴・7つのノブ / Features - Seven Knobs

短く硬い反射が主体の独自設計で、一般的なホール系リバーブとは

ひと味違う"囲まれ感"を狙っています(あくまで狙っているだけ)。

■ 7つの環境ノブ

SIZE - 浴室の広さ

SURFACE - 壁材の硬さ (樹脂〜タイル〜大理石)

STEAM - 蒸気量

DISTANCE - 音源との距離

DOOR - 扉の開放度

MIX - Dry / Wet

OUTPUT - 出力ゲイン

ノブを回すだけで、浴室っぽい密室感・タイル感・蒸気感が

ふわっと出る、そんなオモチャ的な操作感です。

Built around short, hard reflections to evoke a "sealed, surrounded"

feeling -- or at least an attempt at one. Different from typical

hall-style reverbs.

Seven environmental knobs:

SIZE - Room size

SURFACE - Wall hardness (resin / tile / marble)

STEAM - Steam amount

DISTANCE - Source distance

DOOR - Door opening (sealed / open)

MIX - Dry / Wet

OUTPUT - Output gain

Just turn knobs and bathroom-ish vibes appear. Toy-like operation.

Init : デフォルト

Unit Bath : ワンルームのユニットバスっぽい何か

Home Bath : 家庭の浴室っぽい何か

Wood Bath : 木の浴室っぽい何か

Hotel Bath : 高級バスルームっぽい何か

Sento : 銭湯っぽい何か

Onsen : 温泉っぽい何か

各プリセットからノブを少し動かすだけで、

トイレ / シャワーブース / サウナ小屋 / 洞窟風呂 / 露天風呂…

と、それっぽい応用も可能です(ぜんぶ"っぽい")。

* Init : Clean starting point

* Unit Bath : Tiny one-room unit bath, kinda

* Home Bath : Residential tile bathroom, sort of

* Wood Bath : Wooden bath, ish

* Hotel Bath : Marble bathroom-y feel

* Sento : Japanese public bath, approximately

* Onsen : Rocky hot spring vibes, basically

Tweak a couple of knobs and you can dial in toilets, shower booths,

saunas, cave baths, open-air baths -- all in air quotes, of course.

■ 対応環境

対応OS : Windows 10 / 11 (64bit)

フォーマット: VST3 (バンドル形式 / フォルダ)

対応DAW : VST3対応のすべてのDAW

(Cubase / Studio One / FL Studio /

Reaper / Ableton Live / Bitwig など)

■ 動作確認環境

・DAW : Studio One 6 でのみ動作確認しています。

他のVST3対応DAWでも基本的に動作しますが、

未検証です。

・OBS : OBS Studio では atkAudio 製のVSTプラグインホスト

経由で動作確認しています。

OBS本体のVST 2.x プラグイン機能では使用できません

(本プラグインは VST3 のみ対応のため)。

上記以外の環境での動作については、後述の窓口から

ご報告いただけると助かります。

Compatibility:

OS : Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)

Format : VST3 (bundle / folder)

DAWs : Any VST3-compatible DAW

(Cubase / Studio One / FL Studio /

Reaper / Ableton Live / Bitwig, etc.)

Tested environments:

- DAW : Tested only in Studio One 6.

Other VST3-compatible DAWs should work, but are

not yet verified.

- OBS : Tested in OBS Studio via atkAudio's VST plugin

host. Will NOT work with OBS's built-in VST 2.x

feature (this plugin is VST3 only).

Reports for other environments are very welcome.

■ インストール手順

1. 同梱の install.bat をダブルクリック

(UACダイアログが出るので「はい」)

2. インストール先を聞かれるので、Enter で標準フォルダ、

または任意のパスを入力して Enter

3. "Installed successfully." が出たら完了

→ DAWを再起動してプラグインスキャンを実行してください。

手動でインストールする場合は、Bathroom.vst3 フォルダごと

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ にコピーしてください。

バンドル形式なのでフォルダの中身を取り出さず、

"Bathroom.vst3" フォルダのまま配置するのがポイントです。

Installation steps:

1. Double-click install.bat (UAC dialog -> "Yes").

2. The installer asks where to put it. Press Enter for the

default folder, or type any path you want and press Enter.

3. When you see "Installed successfully.", you're done.

-> Restart your DAW and run a plugin scan.

For manual installation, copy the entire Bathroom.vst3 FOLDER into:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\

(It is a VST3 bundle -- copy the whole folder, do not extract

its contents.)
