This software generates normal maps from images.

One key feature of this normal map generator is its ability to produce more three-dimensional results from images with clear brightness contrasts—such as mask-like images or logos.

It’s ideal for creating normal maps tailored to logos or patterns, or for reproducing subtle bumps and dents on mechanical surfaces. You can also adjust the settings to make it function like a standard normal map generator, making it suitable for a wide range of use cases.

Usage & Configurable Settings

You can generate normal maps by running the software and following these steps:

Input an image file (supported formats: PNG, JPG, or JPEG)

Adjust settings as needed

Click the “Generate” button

The following settings can be customized:

Slope Shape: Choose from three different shapes for slope generation

Radius: Defines the size of the sloped area to be generated

Intensity: Controls the strength of the slope in the normal map

Invert Slope Direction: Reverses the direction of the slope formation

Disable Slope Generation: Turns off slope generation, allowing the tool to function as a standard normal map generator

Overwrite Existing Files: Determines whether to overwrite or save as a new file if a file with the same name exists

There are also advanced settings available:

Normal Map Type: Choose between DirectX and OpenGL formats

Save Intermediate Files: Optionally save image files generated during the processing steps
